I am a spiritual artist and reiki healer - I create empowered spiritual jewelry and spirit art dolls. I have a fascination with exploring ancient things - especially anything that we still haven't figured out how or why our ancestors created them. I have a few theories about the civilization known as Atlantis and love any stories or artwork that attempt to portray concepts of Atlantis. I am a geek and love computers, sci-fi, and renaissance faires. I love getting dressed up and hanging out at renn faires and sci-fi conventions and would do them much more if I had the luxury of time and money... I used to be involved in the local SCA group, but had less time to do so after I got married. I have a sci-fi story or 3 running around in my head and eventually will write them - I keep in mind as my inspiration that my favorite author didn't really start writing novels until her 40's, so I still have a few years to catch up  |
My candle poll Well now that I finally get to see my candle poll I see it's almost evenly divided so far... The majority go for single scents so far and the other two options are almost tied - I selected specialty so if I don't count myself the two scent combo is in second place. The reason I wanted to know is when I vend I put my special blends out there and people ask if I have any in a certain single scent. It's even more frustrating when that happens with my oils. I do custom work - I'm not a reseller for Azure Green or Kheops (though I'm thinking about it). I still want to get a business license so I can open a merchant account and take credit cards online and at events without using Paypal. I've thought about doing some reselling at events since it doesn't seem like I can make what I need just on my original creations most of the time. I guess when it comes to candles I need to make all of the above... my signature lines, common single scents, and neat duos.
