I can't even begin to catch up with all the messages I have - seems to be mostly journals... I haven't even gotten around to saving off my Renaissance festival photos - not to mention recent spring flower photos I've taken in my mom's garden...
I guess what's been taking most of my time besides work is the fact that I've been obssessed with comic books again... about 10 years ago I used to read comic books all the time - mainly ElfQuest and X-Men - and then I stopped buying them... part of it may had to do with a certain distraction known as my relationship with the man I'm now married to (and have been for soon to be 9 years now) LOL I think some of that also might have slipped away for a while due to hanging out with that woman that's no longer my friend.... I kinda feel like I'm going back to being myself now. The new obsession started with seeing the Iron Man movie - I totally love it! I now have a new favorite Marvel character besides Wolverine! The thing is - back when I read comic books all the time, I had tons of ideas for my own sci-fi stories.... now that I'm doing that again, I have so many new ideas and I may finally write this story that's been floating around in my head....

The only problem is - I've been in a crafting slump - I think in part due to my new obssession and desire to work on my story... but also there seems to be no interest in my creations - and as much as I enjoy making them - my shelves only have so much room. I've had some signs from the spirits that I'm not supposed to give up on my jewelry and spirit art, but I'm not sure where to go with it right now, and when I try to make myself make something it just doesn't work out right... I guess I just need to take a break from it for a while and do something when the inspiration comes back...
